If you want to ensure you can access your savings when you need it you’ll appreciate our range of Easy access accounts. We have an account where you get a traditional passbook to use in branch and others you can operate over the phone – whatever suits you best.

-Rates are variable and include a fixed bonus of 0.80% payable for first 12 months. After 12 months, the variable interest rate without bonus applies.
-Branch-based with a passbook.
-Lets you add and withdraw money in cash (up to £1,000 a day) or by cheque at any C&G branch or through the post.
-Gives you easy access to your money and free withdrawals.
-Lets you choose to have your interest paid annually or monthly.


-Rates are variable and include a fixed bonus of 0.70% for twelve months on balances of £10,000+. After twelve months or if the balance falls below £10,000, the variable interest rate without bonus applies.
-Exclusive to customers who have held a C&G savings account for six months or longer.
-Open with minimum balance of £10,000.
-No-notice access to your money.
-Three free withdrawals each year. -Further withdrawals are subject to a charge equivalent to 45 days' gross interest on the amount withdrawn, you could therefore get back less than you originally deposited.
-Phone-operated, plus you can pay-in at any C&G branch or by post.
