Open with a minimum of £10,000 by post or in one of our branches.
Deposit by cash, cheque or transfer from another bank or Society account.
If a minimum balance of £10,000 is maintained, up to three no notice withdrawals are permitted each calendar year, providing the total amount withdrawn during the calendar year does not exceed £15,000 (balance permitting).
More than three no notice withdrawals in a calendar year will result in the loss of 90 days' interest.
If your balance is under £10,000, 90 days' notice is required for withdrawals; or immediate access will result in the loss of 90 days' interest to be deducted from the capital sum if necessary.
Your interest is paid annually on 31 December and credited directly to your account or transferred to a Bank or another Society account.

Maximum balance of £1,000,000 (£2,000,000 for joint accounts).
The interest rate is tiered, so the more you save the higher the rate of interest.
You must be aged seven or over to open this account.
If your account falls below the minimum balance amount, you will earn a fixed rate of 0.05% gross p.a./AER* whilst the account is below the minimum balance.
