-Open with £500 by post or in one of our branches.
-Opening deposit by cash, cheque or transfer from another bank or Society account.
-Further funds may not be added to the account once opened, but we can open another bond for you, subject to availability.
-If you need access to your funds you will need to close the account. This will incur a 180 day interest penalty which will be deducted from the capital if necessary. Partial withdrawals are not permitted.
-On closure, funds will be provided by cheque or transfer to another Saffron account only.
-Your interest will be paid into your account on maturity or, for the monthly income option, on the last day of each calendar month. The interest can be transferred to a Saffron account of your choice or to another bank or building society as requested.
-Deposit up to a maximum of £1,000,000 per account holder.
-This is a fixed term account that will run for one year from the date of the initial deposit.
-Shortly before your account matures we will contact you for instructions.
-If we do not receive any instructions from you prior to maturity, your account will automatically switch to a variable rate Loyalty Cashbuild account.
-Children under seven years old, must have a parent or guardian acting as a signatory on the account who must complete a Young Savers application form.
-If your account falls below the minimum balance, you will earn a fixed rate of 0.05% gross p.a./AER*
